The Play Life

Mentally we travel through out the day wanting to stay in our comfort zone. We all know however that deep down in our minds that the ‘comfort zone’ is a place of minimal advancement and bordem. A unique opportunity or proposition will show up in our lives and we then end up analyzing it with the same technique that we have become so comfortable in using, making it the decision the same old way.

Why

The comfort zone as we know it seems to be used a place for humans to hide in their own minds. It’s not really about the action that is being lacked but the underlying cause which could be linked to fear.

What should I do?

Over the past month I have been reading and doing the thirty day exercises out lined in a book “The One Decision” by Judith Wright. The book is about finding your ONE decision in life and takes you through a thirty day whirled wind of a course. On the very first day of the course. I was to journal and reflect on the adventures that had and had not been taken that day. Something very startling happened, It became apparent that the day had become a very adventures day. I noted that by making the decision in the morning to make the day more adventurous it had also clamped down on my wanting for my life to be lived in the comfort zone. So go ahead. First thing tomorrow morning declare to yourself that you will life a day of adventures. See where it takes you!
