Why Worry? Employ the Power of What then?

Introduction:

Fear, worry and anxiety over future events is paralyzing. When you’re stuck in the what if? mode you are incapable of moving forward and living your life to the fullest.

We all have moments when we futurize. Thoughts of what if? This sort of thinking is rarely positive. It is always negative and self defeating.

You don’t have to live like that. With the Three R’s you can defeat the negative chatter in your mind and move forward with boldness.

Fear and worry exhaust you and drain your energy, they sap your spiritual strength and offer you nothing in return.

Worry and fear have never helped anyone and never will.

The three R’s to rid yourself of worry thoughts

1. Reduce to the ridiculous – when you’re worrying about the future outcome of a future event you are totally wasting your time and defeating yourself. So here’s the how to rid yourself of this kind of thinking.

Get a pen and pad and write down the fear or worry.

I am afraid I won’t have enough money this month to pay all the bills.

Then write what would happen:

I’d be late on some payments and get a late fee

What then?

Well I’ll be further in debt.

What then?

I might run clear out of money

What then?

I might not be able to pay the rent/mortgage

What then?

I’d have to move

What then?

I’d have to live with my folks

What then?

I’d be embarrassed

What then

Well I guess I’d have to start over.

What then?

Starting over might be a good thing.

See how that works? You simply continue writing what then? until you have no more answers. You’ve just taken all the energy and power out of the negative worry thought.

Remember that fear is really nothing more than

False

Evidence

Appearing

Real.

We can all bear what is going on in our life today; it is the fear of what may happen that is the injustice to ourselves.

2. Release the fear or worry once you have flattened it with the what then? process; you can replace it with positive creative power thoughts.

The only thing you have to fear is the unreal worries and fears of your own mind.

Change you thinking, change your mind and your life will take on new meaning.

The outer picture cannot change until you change your thoughts. It is what you habitually think that creates the pattern of your life. Get rid of fear and worry; instead get to know your higher self. Your true self.

3. Rethink it – Write a goal or an affirmation to take its place. Take four deep breaths, relax and rethink. Detach from the outer world and turn within. Calm the chattering in your mind and listen.

Clear your thinking of weeds let the light of new positive thinking pour in. Plant new seeds of power and confidence.

Fear and worry can’t exist along side courage, confidence and fearlessness. Fear vanishes when faced with these powerful thoughts.

Open yourself to the wonderful power of the Universal mind. Just say no to worry and fear. Listen to the voice within; it will put you in harmony with the Universal Power.

There will come to you a sense of strength and peace. Feel the power and energy.

If you do not already meditate daily, start now. Set aside a few minutes each morning for quiet reading, journal writing and meditation.

Summary

There is nothing real about worry and fear. The sooner you learn to deal only with reality, the sooner you’ll live the rich abundant life the Universe intended for you.

Now go forth and worry no more. You are refreshed and vigorous. Your mind will leap forward eagerly to tackle what is in front of you to do. Your creative mind will be freed.

Whenever you think ahead let it be a positive creative picture of what you want in your life, not the negative crippling fears and worries of negativity.

You must become the creator and designer of what you want in your life.

According to the Law of Attraction, you have the ability to manifest your dreams. What you focus on you get more of. If that is true, what are your dreams? Consider your professional goals and what you want for yourself. How big do you dare to go?

As children, we dream BIG.  Remember how the world held so many possibilities for you? You were able to be whoever you wanted to be. As you got older, there were more influences in your life. Some of them were very limiting and narrowed your scope of possibilities. Good or bad, someone else’s beliefs and values were imposed upon you. This happens to all of us.

Consider the messages you received. What did you learn about deserving? Were you good enough? Were your interests supported and heard by others? The messages you received affected your identity and how you saw yourself. For most of us, there is a combination of positive and negative messages which we receive about ourselves and our worth. Some of them become your beliefs and truths.

My goal has been to turn a negative into a positive. Instead of looking at having big dreams of success as being selfish what if you were able to transform that perception? How would things be different for you? .   Once again, think about your childhood dreams and how big they were. Is there something you wanted to do which gets you really excited? Are you doing something you enjoy so much that you would do it for free?

When you are sharing your expertise and passion with others, you are being of service. When you are doing something you love, your clients will respond to your enthusiasm. They will gravitate to you and want a piece of that excitement which you have to offer. Believing you deserve to follow a passion is possible.

Each person has the ability to know they deserve to rekindle those dreams and pursue a profession which inspires you. I have witnessed transformations of this very kind. The secret is to align your inner desires with your actions. When that occurs, you begin tapping into your peak potential.

By clearing the limiting beliefs you will begin to feel a shift and a lightness. You deserve to do work which makes you happy. Beginning to transform one limiting belief at a time is all you need to do. Change can happen.

Louise Hay’s book ‘You Can Heal Your Life’ discusses potential. “I love the visualization of standing at the seashore looking out at the vast ocean and knowing that this ocean is the abundance that is available to me. Look down at your hands and see what sort of container you are holding. Is it a teaspoon, a thimble with a hole in it, a paper cup, a glass, a tumbler, a pitcher, a bucket, a wash tub, or perhaps you have a pipeline connected to this ocean of abundance? Look around you and notice that no matter how many people there are and no matter what kind of container they have, there is plenty for everyone. You cannot rob another, and they cannot rob you. And in no way can you drain the ocean dry. Your container is your consciousness, and it can always be exchanged for a larger container.”

Instead of moving away from a problem, choose to work toward a solution. Turning a negative into a positive. Begin to think about what you deserve. If you could have it all, as you dreamed and knew you deserved, what would that look like?

By continuing to use the tools of manifestation and the Emotional Freedom Techniques, you are moving in the right direction. You are beginning to tap into your true potential. Feel the difference as you begin to free yourself from limiting beliefs. You deserve to do it all and have it all. The only limitations you have are the ones you have continued to place on yourself. Recognize you have the ability to change your thoughts. Make the choice to take action and step into your greatness.

Activity: List one belief which you would like to transform. List all the ways this belief holds you back from taking action to grow your business. If you could change that belief to one leading toward successfully reaching your goal, what would it be? Write it down. List all the steps you could take to reach that goal. Now you are moving in the right direction.

Starting A Home Business – Part 1

Starting  a Home Business takes time & most of all dedication. you are no longer an employee, or a business owner with a multitude of employees to keep your business & you on track. you are now commencing a Home Business, you will have distraction & mini mental battles to keep you focused & on track.

For all of you jumping in to your own Home Business, in your own Home Business, Or even considering generating a Business From Home, Then a fine grand congratulations goes out to all of you.

From my personal experiences jogging a business from home took more mental power of  staying focused on my Income Producing Activities (IPA). I quickly hit a brick wall with that. I spent time organizing my files, cleaning my table, updating website pages, looking at reports in my accounting application, etc… I know many of you are going to say ‘But Roger a quantity of these things are going to need to get done’. My answer is simple & quick. Yes! All these other things still need to get done, but if a home business does not generate any income from it’s activities, How long do you think you’ll be in business for?

I started applying ‘Getting Things Done’ processes. Getting Things Done action management system created by David Allen. You can read David’s book: Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity

This comes back to Income Producing Activities. For this first step – Try to truly identify what your Income Producing Activities are. Do not let fear or anything stop you.

I read the book & implemented the processes. Did it help? Not as nice as I was hoping. However it did help a bit of getting things organized.

Leadership Exposed

Leadership is a quality that has over time challenged many people, governments, religions, etc…

Why is it such a challenge anyway? Why not live your lives everyday as a leader, not just at the office but in every part of your life.
